Wonderful weaving

This week in Dragonfly class we have been recreating artwork by Anni Albers who was a German artist and printmaker. Anni was known for her bold patterns and thoughtful colour choices, the children experimented with different colours and weaving patterns to create their own inspired art work. We also practiced our measuring skills to create our own weaving looms! The children showed great determination and perseverance with this tricky task.

We Are Now an Asthma Friendly School!

We are delighted to share that St John the Baptist CE School has been officially recognised as an Asthma Friendly School.

This means we have met a series of standards designed to ensure that pupils with asthma are supported effectively, feel safe in school, and can confidently take part in all areas of school life.

Being an Asthma Friendly School reflects our commitment to ensuring every child can learn, play and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
