Summer Term in Rabbit Class

Posted on April 15, 2026 by Zoe Powell

Welcome back Rabbit Class, I hope you all had a lovely Easter break and spent time having fun with your families. I can’t wait to hear about everything you got up to!

We have got lots of exciting things to look forward to this term; a fun school trip, swimming lessons, our sponsored fun run and lots more too!

Our topic this term is ‘Turrets and Tiaras’. We will be learning about Queen Elizabeth I and about the Battle of Shrewsbury, to find out more click on the link below.

Rabbits Class Topic Overview Summer 2026

We will start swimming lessons on Fridays (you should have received a letter letting you know which weeks your child will be swimming), so everyone will need to be in PE kit and if it is your week for swimming bring your swimming kit with you on Fridays too.  Year 2s will have PE on a Tuesday afternoon and Year 1s will have forest school.

Please find the knowledge organisers for subjects this term below.  The knowledge organisers will tell you what the children will be learning and some key vocabulary they will encounter this term. I hope you find these helpful, please let me know if there is anything you would like to discuss.

Art – Collage

If you have any queries, questions or worries please feel free to catch me on the gate or email me to arrange a chat.
