This term in RE, the children in Hedgehog Class have been learning about how they can make a difference in the world. Part of this work has been based on charity work and what we can do to help. We have then linked this to charity work that has been done by people of faith. This week, the children were exploring the story of St Francis of Assisi and his belief that all God’s creatures were special and should be loved and cared for. We then thought of animals that we would particularly like to love and care for, thinking about our recent learning about extinct and endangered animals. The children then started to make some fantastic models using clay of the animal that they would want to love and care for the most. Look at this super work! Well done everyone!
