Sixteen of our Year 5 and 6 children attended the Corbet Area Hi-5 Netball tournament this morning and we are delighted to announce one of the Ruyton teams became OVERALL CHAMPIONS!

There were 11 teams overall with all matches closely fought. We were pleased to be able to send two teams which gave more children the chance to experience competitive netball following their PE lessons. In the final, a 0-0 draw with West Felton (even after extra time) saw the 1st place position shared between the two schools; this was a fantastic outcome –  the teachers agreed the netball was too good to choose a winner! We are so proud of all the children: they made fantastic improvements in skill throughout the morning and showed excellent sportsmanship towards each other.

Well done Team Ruyton!
