Weekly Celebrations – 11.10.24

Posted on October 11, 2024 by Zoe Horton

Here are this week’s awards…

Weekly Celebrations

School Value Ambassadors (earning House Points with one pupil chosen each week per year group, awarded by teachers for showing one of our school values):

Year 6 Millie for ‘Trust’ and ‘Wisdom’ – Millie is always prepared to answer questions and speak in front of the class. She shows courage because she is not afraid to get things wrong. Keep up the hard work Millie – well done!

Year 5 Sam for ‘Perseverance’ and ‘Wisdom’ – Sam has worked really hard this week. He has a brilliant base of knowledge, providing fantastic answers to deep level questions. We are all very impressed with how well you have settled into Owls.

Year 4 Beau for ALL of our school values – Beau is an excellent role model. She always gives her best, shows honesty and spreads happiness in Dragonflies. Well done Beau!

Year 3 Aoife for ‘Trust’, ‘Wisdom’ and ‘Friendship’ – for being a wonderful friend, always asking thoughtful questions and offering excellent answers to questions. Well done Aoife!

Year 2 Laurie for ALL of our school values – Laurie can always be relied on to do the right thing. He is enthusiastic, hard working and a pleasure to have in class!

Year 1 Lottie for ‘Perseverance’  – Lottie is trying really hard in English lessons. She has brilliant ideas and her handwriting is getting neater everyday!

Reception Laith for ‘Respect’  – For always having beautiful manners, including holding doors open for people and being kind and considerate.

Bumblebees Freddie for showing ‘Love’, ‘Hope, ‘Trust’, ‘Perseverance’ and ‘Tolerance’ – Freddie has worked really hard to gain the confidence to attend to his own personal care needs. We are very proud of you Freddie!

Raffle ticket winners (awarded by staff for lining-up or behaviour around school)

Other achievements…

Freddie won ‘Player of the Match’ last weekend after his football match. He said he got it for his excellent goal keeping skills!

Charley has recently joined a contact rugby team, and has already won ‘Player of the Match’. Charley explained to us all the difference between tag rugby and contact rugby and said she is enjoying playing!

Congratulations to all our winners this week!
