Easter Celebration Assembly!

It’s finally the Easter Holidays! We had great fun today with our annual Easter Egg Hunt – check out the class pages for more photographs!

Today we said a huge well done to our amazing Year 6s who had a very successful trip to Arthog this week. We’ll report more about it soon, but you made us very proud. You can also see below to find out the winner of the Friends’ Easter Egg competition!

Here are this week’s celebrations…

Golden Book Awards

There has clearly been lots of great classwork going on in school this term as the Golden Book awards gave been coming in thick and fast… these are awards for class work: each class has a different target e.g. Rabbits need to collect 20 awards to get in the Golden Book, whilst Owls need to earn 40!

Acorn Awards (earning House Points with two pupils chosen per class; awarded by teachers for class-based work / learning attitudes):

  • Arthur- for being so thoughtful and kind towards younger children at playtime
  • Beau – for always being ready to learn
  • James-Noah- for consistently being kind and helpful to others at Arthog
  • Isaac – for amazing spelling results
  • Millie J – for always being a kind member of the class
  • Imogen – for making positive choices and respecting her friends
  • Lilly  – for always being kind and caring
  • Isaac – for a super sensible attitude towards work

Raffle ticket winners (awarded by staff for lining-up or behaviour around school)

Plus an extra winner in Hedgehog Class as they had the most tickets this week 👏

Swimming Awards

Congratulations to Nancy for her swimming award, but also Evan and Elsie for completing a level on their Rookie Lifeguard course!

Easter Egg Raffle

We were excited to draw the winner of the Easter Raffle (hosted by the Friends). A whopping £94 has been raised so far!

Mwaita chose the winner of the bunny and Easter Egg… congratulations to Freddie! We look forward to hearing what name you chose.

Happy Birthday to Jackson and Mrs Beddoes over the Easter holidays!
