Owls concluded their work with Miss Whit on creating Venetian landscapes in the style of Claude Monet during Arts Week. They learned about the impressionist style, different brush techniques but also how to apply mixed media including oil, chalk and watercolour.

The results were impressive! Children could choose whether to recreate Monet’s Sunset in Venice or use the same landscape with their own choice of time e.g. night, or using inspiration from his work on bridges and lilies.
