I hope you had a good day yesterday! The sun was shining in Bomere Heath yesterday, I hope it was sunny where you live. Fingers crossed for another day of sunshine today. ☀️

Reception, your lesson will be uploaded at 10am. Year 1s, your lesson will be uploaded at 10:30am. If you feel like you need a bit of extra practice there is another lesson at 11:00am that focuses on blending sounds. After they have been uploaded the videos are available to view at any time throughout the day.

If you’re struggling to concentrate for the full video, try doing it in sections and have a break between each bit.

Fine Motor Skills:

Maths:

Reception: This week your learning will be based on the book ‘The Princess and The Wizard’. Today you will be setting yourself some challenges, practising your counting and seeing if you can stand like a statue!

English:

Reception: Today you will listen to the story ‘The Hundred Decker Bus’ by Mike Smith. You will talk about your favourite part of the story and consider why the bus driver wanted to choose a new route. After the lesson, you will continue the adventure by drawing our favourite part of the story.

Topic:

Have a think about how the weather affects what clothes you put on. Would you put a jumper on when it’s sunny or wear your shorts in the snow? Try sorting these items of clothing depending on whether it’s rainy, sunny, cloudy or snowy.
