Hedgehogs Home Learning – Tuesday 30th June

Hello Hedgehogs,

I hope your week got off to a good start. I needed a hot chocolate when I got home from school yesterday I was a bit chilly!! I can’t believe it’s the last day in June, this month seems to have flown by – hopefully July will bring some sunshine for us 🙂

Here are today’s home learning tasks:

Phonics:

Reception, your lesson will be uploaded at 10am. Year 1s, your lesson will be uploaded at 10:30am. If you feel like you need a bit of extra practice there is another lesson at 11:00am that focuses on blending sounds. After they have been uploaded the videos are available to view at any time throughout the day.

If you’re struggling to concentrate for the full video, try doing it in sections and have a break between each bit.

Fine Motor Skills:

Reception: Today you will listen to the story of Beegu, by Alexis Deacon. You will think about who has shown Beegu kindness and who could have shown more kindness. We end the lesson by writing a message to Beegu to show her that she is welcome on Earth.
