Hedgehogs Home Learning – Tuesday 19th May

Good Morning Hedgehogs 🙂

Did you have a good day yesterday? Did you get up to anything exciting? I went on a walk and made some Oreo brownies, they were very yummy! Have any of you been baking?

Here are today’s home learning activities:

This link will take you to the phonics lessons. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCP_FbjYUP_UtldV2K_-niWw/featured

Reception, your lesson will be uploaded at 10am. Year 1s, your lesson will be uploaded at 10:30am. If you feel like you need a bit of extra practice there is another lesson at 11:00am that focuses on blending sounds. After they have been uploaded the videos are available to view at any time throughout the day.

If you’re struggling to concentrate for the full video, try doing it in sections and have a break between each bit.

We’re going to try something a bit different this week, I hope you like it!

Reception: This week your activities will be focussed on Jack and the Beanstalk. https://www.thenational.academy/reception/english/jack-and-the-beanstalk-reception-wk5-2 Click ‘Start Lesson’ and then click play on the video. Have a look at this video about different emotions and how they make us feel. You will learn some calming breaths to help you if you ever feel a bit wobbly.

Remember not to worry if you can’t get through everything, make sure you’re having fun and playing too!

If you would like to share any work with us or your friends you can send it to admin@ruyton.shropshire.sch.uk or if you’re in reception you can share pictures through Tapestry. We love seeing what you get up to, whether that’s the work we set or other fun activities you’re doing with your family!

Keep smiling, we’re all very proud of you.

Miss Horton 🙂
