We have been so impressed with your amazing poetry writing in English so this week, we would like you to write your own simile poem (just like our whale poem) about an animal of your choice.  Here is an example about my cat, Jet to give you some ideas:

My cat is black like the night sky in Winter

His paws are as white as new snow

His purr is as loud as a train

He hunts like a stealthy panther

He can be as lazy as a sloth

And as loving as a hug.
