Weekly Celebrations – 29.11.24

Posted on November 29, 2024 by Zoe Powell

Here are this week’s awards…

Weekly Celebrations

School Value Ambassadors (earning House Points with one pupil chosen each week per year group, awarded by teachers for showing one of our school values):

Year 6 Devon for ‘Love’, ‘Hope’ and ‘Respect – Devon is a fantastic role model for our younger children. In particular, it is noticeable how well she sings in worships, as well as how sensibly she sits on the benches and how she behaves in general.

Year 5 Isaac for ‘Wisdom’  – Isaac has had a great week. He represented our school fantastically at church on Thursday. He has contributed great ideas and he has been showing good improvements in his class work!

Year 4 Calvin for ‘Friendship’  and ‘Wisdom’ – Calvin is a great asset to Dragonflies. They are a great friend to all, always offering to help. Calvin tries hard in everything they do, especially more recently mastering editing work and remembering capital letters.

Year 3 Kohen for ‘Respect’ and ‘Wisdom’ – Kohen is a lovely member of Dragonflies who tries his hardest in all subjects. He is always willing to answer questions. This week Kohen has tried especially hard to improve his handwriting. Keep up the hard work.

Year 2 Delilah for ‘Love’, ‘Respect’ and ‘Wisdom’ – Delilah is a fantastic role model in Rabbit Class. She is also doing a fab job in our nativity practise – she always knows what she should be doing and is good at organising others too.

Year 1 Oakley for ‘Perseverance’  – Oakley has been working so hard to improve the presentation of his work. His handwriting is getting better everyday. Well done Oakley, Miss Horton is very proud of you!

Reception Oscar for ‘Perseverance’ and ‘Wisdom’ – Oscar works hard and always challenges himself to improve and learn new things. He is developing some super thinking skills.

Bumblebees Peter for showing ‘Trust’, ‘Love’ and ‘Perseverance’ – Peter has made good choices this week and has shown love to his brother.

Bumblebees Noah for showing ‘Trust’, ‘Love’ and ‘Perseverance’ – Noah has shown love to his brother, he has shown trust to his peers and wisdom in his learning.

Raffle ticket winners (awarded by staff for lining-up or behaviour around school)
