Owl Class Home Learning Thursday 26th March

Hello Owl Class! And hello Mums, Dads, parents and carers! It’s so lovely to be here chatting to you all!

I hope you are all keeping well and enjoying this fabulous sunshine. Isn’t it wonderful?

Whilst I’ve been off Mrs Hollis has been keeping me up to date with all your news and whilst I haven’t had much of a voice (more of croak some would say) I have been sending her lots of smiley faces back in my emails!

So for tomorrow’s activities I thought it might be fun to have a look at the following which is in keeping with our normal Thursday timetable.

Please could you work on the next section of your CGP revision books. Everyone is likely to be at a different stage so please look at what is relevant to you and aim to complete the appropriate section for you. Go over any misconceptions and make sure you follow before moving on.

Many of you will be aware that due to the current Corona Virus crisis a number of public events have been cancelled — the most recent one being the 2020 Olympics. However that doesn’t mean we can’t have some Olympic Maths fun!

Follow the link/ copy and paste into your browser:

and have some fun with angles! You will be able to work on this activity over today and tomorrow.

If you are able to it would be great to see some of your work. I could then upload for all to see! Email me at henney.s@ruyton.shropshire.sch.uk

Hold you own campfire jamboree! Families – get involved! Ok- so perhaps Mrs Henney is getting a bit carried away by the sunshine but it does feel like camping weather doesn’t it? Get out your instruments (if you have them) and have a sing along session – those brave enough can submit any video evidence.

If you’d like anything else to do there’s TT rockstars and the opportunity to immerse yourself in a book.

But … most importantly – keep enjoying the sunshine, stay safe, take time to relax and remember we are all here to look after you all.

Speak to you all tomorrow!

Mrs Henney xx
