Morning all! I hope yo are all smiling and enjoying the sunshine. Today is National Writing Day so some of today’s activities reflect that. It is the fourth year of the this celebration of writing organised by the National Literacy Trust. Have a look on their website (link below) for lots of activities and writing tips from authors such as Cressida Cowell.
Here is today’s work:
1)Spellings: Ok – I know you lot like a challenge so today, can you create a poem or even a song using your spellings?
2)Reading – If you haven’t been on Reading Eggs for a while, spend some time on there and of course, read for pleasure too.
3)English – again you have a choice between BBC Bitesize or the Oak National Academy.
Today’s activity on Bitesize is linked to National Writing Day so you may like to check that out.

6)Other ideas for today:
*Make sure you are keeping active
*Continue your Summer Solstice related project set yesterday. Perhaps you could link your project to a written activity such as a poem or leaflet.
*Check out the post from last week about Blue Peter’s 6 badges of Summer (link below to BBC website). There are 6 different badges to work towards over June and July.
Whatever you do today, have a great one.
