Owl Class (am) Home Learning 27.4.20

Morning Owls and welcome to a new week.  I hope that you have had a great weekend. I love seeing all of the fantastic work that you have been up to; it makes me even more proud of you all. This weekend in the Hollis household, aside from trying to claim my garden back from the weeds that have overtaken it, I have been helping Freya and Rowan with lots of craft  projects.  Freya has been using the sewing machine that she had for Christmas; she is really confident on it and I think it is her teaching me and not the other way round! Both Rowan and Freya have been inspired by something that they watched on a tv programme that made a dog from a tin can so we had a go and made a cat and a frog.  We also made some tealight holders by hammering holes into tins cans full of ice.  Safety note: I did the hammering, not Rowan!

We have all been enjoying the sunny weather (Freya and Rowan have done lots of trampolining) and the sky has been very clear at night so we have been out stargazing quite a bit.  We were amazed at how clearly we could see Venus as well as a few shooting stars.

Anyway, enough Mrs Hollis chatter, back to work…..
