Hello Hedgehogs,

What lovely weather we are having at the moment! Perfect paddling pool weather! Make sure you spend time outside enjoying the sunshine ☀️

Reception, your lesson will be uploaded at 10am. Year 1s, your lesson will be uploaded at 10:30am. If you feel like you need a bit of extra practice there is another lesson at 11:00am that focuses on blending sounds. After they have been uploaded the videos are available to view at any time throughout the day.

If you’re struggling to concentrate for the full video, try doing it in sections and have a break between each bit.

Reception: Today you will will commit The Crocodile Who Didn’t Like Water, by Gemma Merino, to your memory by drawing a story map. You can extend this lesson by acting out the story and thinking of a step for each part.


Year 1: Today you will be thinking about where your new characters live, their habitat, and what they eat, their diet. You will need a piece of paper and a pencil.



Wildlife Wednesday! Have a go at making your own bird feeder: Pipe Cleaner Bird Feeder I’d love to know if any birds come and have a nibble on your bird feeders!
