Good morning Dragonflies,
We tried out a times table grid in class yesterday – it really got us thinking! How well are you remembering your times tables?
Here are today’s activities:
- Spellings: This week’s lists are on the links below. Challenge: write them out as handwriting practise today.
2. Maths: White Rose Maths links can be found below. I’ve also added a block of work on My Maths for those of you who enjoy it too. Remember to watch the video and learn first!

Writing Challenge!
As we near the end of the term, I’m going to set you a writing challenge each day to try and produce different types of writing linked to genres we have covered in Dragonflies.
Watch this video:
Challenge 1
Image Poetry: Can you create an ‘If I were…’ poem e.g.
If I were a monkey I’d climb the tallest tree
If I were a monkey no hunters would catch me.
If I were a monkey I’d swing from branch to vine.
If I were a monkey I’d be cheeky all the time. But you could write this better!
Other ideas:
- Science: Today we are going to think about muscles in the human body.
- Bitesize Muscles – learn about muscles here
- How many of your muscles can you name? Perhaps draw around yourself on some old wallpaper and label your body. Carry out research to learn new body parts.
Have a great Tuesday,
Miss Whit 🙂
