Hello Dragonflies,
A very warm welcome back, I hope you have had a wonderful summer break and are feeling refreshed and ready for an exciting year ahead! I have had a very busy and exciting few weeks because I got married, so I’m now Mrs Jamieson (I think we might need to get used to it together!). We had the best day!
I am looking forward to welcoming year 4 back to the classroom and getting to know year 3 as we begin our learning journey together.
Our PE lessons will take place on:
- Tuesdays with Miss Woodhouse
- Fridays with me
Please ensure that children come to school dressed in their PE kit on these days.
Homework and spellings will be:
- Given out every Wednesday
- Returned by the following Wednesday
Children will also complete their spelling test on Wednesdays, so please encourage them to practise their spellings regularly throughout the week.
We are very fortunate to have a fantastic team supporting the children this year:
- Mrs Bradshaw will be our Teaching Assistant every morning Monday to Friday, as well as on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
- Mrs Hughes will be our Teaching Assistant on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons.
- Mrs Maund will also be working in the classroom with us on most days.

The knowledge organisers will tell you what the children will be learning and some key vocabulary they will encounter this term.
