Owl Class Home Learning – 22.5.20 🦉

Happy Friday everyone and, come 3.15 (officially!), happy holidays 🥳!

I hope you will all look back over the last few weeks and remember both something that makes you smile as well as something which fills you with pride; we have all been and remain so incredibly proud of you. So we’d all just like to say and enormous thank you and well done to you all.

Home learning for today then..!

English 📚  – For this activity, using the book A Pocketful Of Stars, you will learn how to investigate a text, compare extracts and write from a character’s perspective. Whilst age appropriate, the second extract in this lesson contains themes which some of you may find emotional. As every one of you is individual, remember to talk if you are at all concerned by the content.

Maths ✏️  – It’s Family Maths challenge day again! Get everyone in the family involved with challenge day, work together to solve as many as you can and share your solutions!

Music 🎧 – During this lesson you will learn about composing music using found sounds and music technology. For those of you that have access to or know of a music software package you could have a go at creating you own piece of music! Remember to forward it on if you do!

And remember there is still your Activity Menu; Take a look and pick something you haven’t completed yet. Friday would normally have PE, PSHE and RE Timetabled so if you haven’t already completed those activities perhaps you could have a go today?

And finally … have a wonderful, wonderful break! Looking forward to hearing all your news after the holidays. Take care and be good!
