Owl Class (am) Home Learning Tasks 24.3.20

Good morning Owls.  Hope you had a good day yesterday and had the chance to get out into the gorgeous sunshine.  Big thank you to Charlie L for throwing loads of the balls back over the hedge – you superstar!  Also, great photo Henry – loving the uniform!

Here are today’s activities:

1)MyMaths – complete the angles activities assigned to you.  I have made an IT discovery and I can leave feedback when you have completed the activities so will try to do this as regularly as possible.  If the MyMaths site isn’t working, choose another of the activities from the print out that is in your pack.  Again,  Year 6, you could complete a page from the Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division pack and mark using the answer pack.

2)Numbergym – log on and have a go at working through the mental maths challenge levels.

3)Reading: I have assigned the book MacBeth as a reading assignment for the next week.  You earn eggs for completing it.  Also, make time to read your own book for pleasure – sit outside and do this if the nice weather continues.

4)Spelling/handwriting – use the spellings from yesterday’s post to continue practising.  Today, can you write each one in a sentence?

5)Using the teaching from yesterday’s Education City work on brackets, dashes and commas, can you have a go at writing any piece of text using examples of these types of punctuation?  Perhaps a diary of what you have been up to so far?

6) Continue your chosen activity from the menu enclosed in your pack.

7)Exercise time!  Did any of you try out Rhys’ workout?  I’d love to know how you got on if you did.  Perhaps you could devise your own indoor?  If you do, send it to school and I will try to post it on the website.

Stay safe.  Missing you all loads.
